Ok so you just joined The Gods Land, and spawned into the game. What are the first things you should do?
1) Go to the forums and read this post
as well as the other information covering the Claims / Heroes / Mythic mods we use on the server.

2) Assuming you read the forums and the descriptions of everything., the next thing you want to do is pick what class you want to play.
to do this. You type in game /hero choose (Your class here). Then at prompt type /hero confirm. Congratulations your a Class.
3) Now. you can also do the exact same thing to choose a Profession, which is your 2nd Class, or think of it as a Specialization.
Except you type /hero prof (zYour profession here), NOTE the lowercase z must be before the profession name.
To recap ill display the commands that you should of typed with a example of class/profession chosen.
/hero choose Warrior
/hero confirm
/hero prof zFarmer
/hero confirm
Just like that.
4) OK then. Next order of business. Look up around town, you should see a house with a Big Gold coin on top it. Enter that and here you will find
a starter chest that contains everything you should need to start your time in Gods Land, Basic Wood tools and some food. **Note** this chest
respawns every 10 minutes. So if you lose your things, more will be there in time.
5) Now you want to go claim your own land which requires a Wooden Shovel, you got your wooden shovel out of the chest right?.
The server runs Claims Mod, which means you cannot touch any block that you do not own yourself.
Each new Players are given 400 blocks to claim land with. The smallest size you can have is 10x10 so you can configure your 400 blocks to be
any where from 4 10x10 plots or 1 10x40 plot or what I would recommend is a 20x20.
***WARNING / TIPS***
Before I tell you to go get all gung hoe out in the wilderness to establish yourself. Words of Advise!
The Gods Land mobs are quite tough for new players and get tougher the further away from town you travel!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND FIGHTING ANYTHING until you have your land and spawn established through a bed.
Recommend to not travel at night or very minimum until your established.
First order of business should be claiming your land / making shelter / supply yourself, just like in any survival minecraft server.
Anyway. to quote the claims post that you should of already read. Time to claim land!
Wood Shovel - Right click on an unclaimed area to mark your first point. then right click again on another block to mark the opposing corner
of that block to claim your square or rectangular land. once you have land you can make it bigger by right clicking on the corner and extending it in the
direction you would like your property to extend to. If this is difficult to visualize, here is a little diagram to assist.
